FACILITIES

The Heather, with its 8 sheets of ice, offers amenities accordingly.

Its lounge/viewing area on the second floor offers not only food and beverages for those waiting to go on or just leaving the ice, but also for those wishing to seat up to 150 persons in a banquet setting (during bonspiels, special events, etc.).  Ice rentals are available, both for individual practice and for group events.

During the summer months, when the ice is off the curling floor, the unobstructed space offers up to 600 people the opportunity for wedding receptions, trade shows, socials and the like.  Two large doors to this space offer renters access for props and light equipment.  This space also hosts the pavilions of Brazil and India during Winnipeg’s two-week Folklorama festival.

There is ample off-street parking.

Food
The kitchen is open every day. Watch for Special Meals being offered throughout the Season and make your reservations or drop in!

Beverages
The Heather has a full range of beverages.  The Bar is available to Heather members and their guests.

Catering
