Senior curlers must be retired or 55 years of age.  Curling draw start times will be 12:00 p.m. on Mondays, 10:00a.m. on Tuesdays, and 10:00a.m. and 1:00p.m. on Wednesdays.  Curling in a full draw of sixteen teams will consist of three rounds of five games followed by a three game playoff round, plus tiebreakers.  All games are eight ends.  In an extra end, each curler delivers one rock.  League dates will be announced later.

Curling fees are $475.00 per team per draw plus the $4.00 Curl Manitoba Affiliation Fee, which is only paid once at the Heather CC. Skips please indicate in which draw/league at the Heather CC your members are registered in.

All members must be registered prior to the start of curling.  Registering a curling member after the season commences will incur a $40.00 associate curler fee plus a Curl Manitoba levy of $4.00 for the individual.

Please complete the attached application form before August 29, 2014.  Send any post-dated cheque(s)  (dated no later than October 10, 2014) made payable to Heather Seniors Curling Club, to: Ken Batt, 388 Dowling Avenue East, Winnipeg, MB, R2C3M5 .

Application forms must be completed and submitted by August 29, 2014.  If your team is not returning, a phone call to Ken Batt at 222-1598 would be appreciated.  Entries  received by August 29, 2014 will assure you of your spot held previously.

The Heather Senior Mens Curling League also has openings for individuals only being interested in going on a spare list.  The cost is $20.00 plus $4.00 Curl Manitoba Fee.

There may also be curlers that are interested in a regular curling spot.  However, as sometimes turns out, there also may be a shortage of members for some teams.  It is suggested that these interested individuals contact Ken Batt and they will be “slotted”, where possible, with a regular curling team.
