The Heather Curling Club in the past thirty years has become a multi-purpose venue. It is a busy winter season with curling and in the summer season, remains open for hall rentals complete with catering services.
With 8 sheets of ice, The Heather provides ample room for briers and other special curling events.
Our History of Winnipeg Service
The Heather Curling Club of the (former) City of St. Boniface in what is now the City of Winnipeg, was established in 1915. A group of Norwood neighbourhood residents obtained a Charter, incorporated a Company and raised enough money to construct a five sheet rink which was officially opened on Christmans Day, the same year.
